A few years ago we decided our office needed a long overdue makeover. We still had lots of the furniture we first started out with in 2005 which was very dated and tired.
It took over 2 years for us to finish the project but we love it now, almost everyone that comes in our door comments how lovely the office is. We even recently finished the new window signs with our logo we revamped in 2015.
Here's some "before" photos, note the very scratched wooden floor, the charcoal feature wall and the dark brown furniture:
And here's some after photos, we stuck with the same sofa as it's a great neutral fabric but everything else was new:
Most of our new furniture (except the white buffet unit) came from our friends Crystal & Dennis at Rustic Charm Interiors, they have a beautiful range. The signage was by Signarama Burswood, "open" sign by Etched, prints by Fitzgerald Photo Lab & framing by Preservation Framers and of course our beautiful albums by Queensberry.
It was lovely to furnish something that didn't have to be kid friendly or pass the husband test unlike our own homes that can resemble toy catalogues sometimes!
Just for a bit of history here's what the office looked like when we purchased it back in December 2004... it was one big bare room:
And here's a look back at our decor back in 2005 when we finished fitting the office out and moved in, why was every photo taken on an angle we ask ourselves now!
It's been so fun to look back over the years at the different looks our office has had, we wonder what's in store for the next 13 years?
